So i came across this article on Expedition Portal the other day and wanted to know what you guys think.

On most overland sites the default is to hook up a dual battery system and run a fridge. However, thats probably a grand all together. The other option is to get a heavy duty cooler like Yeti or Esky makes. While this is considerably cheaper, you do then have to deal with ice.

Presently we have a 50qt coleman extreme cooler that has worked pretty well, although this is admittedly not nearly as robust as a Yeti cooler.

The other option to avoid floating sandwiches is to use dry ice in a rated cooler. Has anyone done this?
