You’ve probably seen 100 tests like this on street tires, but very few good ones on AT/MT tires
interesting in that there is apparently a tire category between AT and highway tires, call a “mild AT” or something. I would guess that’s where my Falken Wildpeak AT3w’s sit...which is fine with me. I’ve never had a problem with the traction of the mild AT but once in mud. Other than that I’ve never felt like I’ve been compromised and them being WAY quieter than the duratracs which I would call a “mild MT” makes all the difference. The Dtracs were beasts off-road, but they wore like crap and sounded terrible once they did.
